PEAK DESIGN New Ways to Carry A Camera

The photography community is once again loving this launch by Peak Design (Kickstarter granted them a “Staff Pick” and the campaign is already over $245k with over 3,000 backers in little over a 2 weeks)

For the 411 on the Slide and Clutch — pkdsn.com/ks new gear, including specs, MSRPs, and hardware.

ETA deliveries----soon!

Easy to screw  onto bottom of a camera….CLUTCH is great for lighter weight lenses/smaller SLRs on its own or attach the camera to a tripod…comes with extra clips…but also sold separate. Nice to have the option to slide camera off a tripod…and have it ready to click away-securely.

btw those clips can be use to attach camera to any strap. A lot easier to use---attaching a camera to a strap used to be a pain..

Packaging is great with illustrated picture instructions…simple to follow and intuitive. The strap of the Sling really easily adjusts with one hand---and yet holds securely. One side is smooth --the other more textured so one has choices.A  pro photographer pal of ours was concerned about the stretchy clips fraying (hence extra are enclosed) but would take a lot of friction to wear them down imo.

Really an impressive way to carry cameras---very well thought out and better than every camera strap we can think of---and cheaper too!!!!!

We even got the link to the video- separately from a pro photographer pal in New Zealand…so good news travel fast and far.
