TIMO WEILAND MENSWEAR F/W 2013

 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week/Lincoln Center/NYC

words/images J. Ecochard

Creative Director Timo Weiland (with credits Design Director Alan Eckstein/Head Designer Donna Kang)...impressed the masses at his eponymous label's packed presentation of wearable, hip separates for guys.

A mixup of materials cut into slim modern silhouettes...of handsome color block combos and solids of largely neutral tones...added up to mix match ready wardrobe apparel that real men we know would actually wear.

Highlights for us-were the outerwear items---including this moto bomber with nice quilted upper details

Other wearables-printed button down shirts, crewneck and zipped sweaters, single breasted blazers and slim cut pleated trousers...

What makes these modern classics a distinct level above the mass merchandised clothes that are in like every mall in America----the details (like contrast trims, hems and quality/variety of fabrics...and of course, the terrific fit.
